Memorable Moments for Kevin Millar
- 15 February 2003 - Boston acquires first baseman and outfielder Kevin Millar from Florida after the 31-year-old player is returned to the Marlins from the Chunichi Dragons of the Japanese Central League one day earlier. Millar had signed a two-year deal with the Japanese club, only to have a change of heart after rejecting Boston's waiver claim for him in January.
- 11 May 2005 - One day after teammate Kevin Millar wins the game for Boston with a walk-off, two-run home run for a 3-2 Red Sox win over the Athletics, Jason Varitek victimizes Oakland reliever Octavio Dotel with a two-run walk-off home run of his own as the Red Sox win 7-6.
- 11 September 2013 - Mike Carp hits a pinch-hit grand slam in the top of the tenth inning in Tampa as the Red Sox win 7-3 over the Rays. Kevin Millar has been the last Red Sox pinch hitter to hit a grand slam back in 2003.
