- 14 October 2018 - Following a tough 7-2 loss the previous night in Game One of the American League Championship Series, the Red Sox bounce back and outlast the Astros 7-5 in Game Two. A three-run double by Jackie Bradley Jr. in the third puts the Red Sox ahead for good.
- 16 October 2018 - Jackie Bradley Jr. hits a grand slam in the top of the eighth innings to cement an 8-2 win for the Red Sox over the Astros in Game Three of the American League Championship Series. Nathan Eovaldi allows just two runs over six innings of work, and four Boston relievers combine to shut out Houston over the final three innings.
- 18 October 2018 - The Red Sox win the 14th American League pennant in franchise history with a 4-1 win over the Astros in Game Five of the American League Championship Series. David Price pitches six shutout innings and allows only three hits while striking out nine. ALCS MVP Jackie Bradley Jr. hits his third home run of the series in the top of the third, and Rafael Devers creates some breathing room with a three-run blast in the sixth.
